Citrus+ continues Saburouta's yuri romance Citrus, about two girls who became stepsisters when Yuzu's mother remarried. Yuzu was the flashy transfer student whose hair and makeup kept breaking the rules at the strict all-girls Aihara Academy. Mei was the icy student council president. She was also the new stepsister waiting at home. This sequel starts after the two have become a couple who no longer keep it secret. That openness causes its own problems. Every friend and relative now has an opinion on how the pair should date. Saburouta again writes and draws the story. It is meant for readers who loved Citrus and want more time with Yuzu and Mei. Newcomers should start with the original.
