These terms apply to everyone who uses Mangainfo. By using the site you accept them.

The service

Mangainfo is a free database of manga releases. It is provided as it is. Features can change or end.

Accuracy

Release dates, prices and other data come from third parties and from readers. They can be wrong and they change. Check with the publisher or the shop before you rely on a date or a price. Mangainfo gives no warranty that the data is correct, complete or current.

Accounts

An account needs an email address. Sign in links are personal. Do not share them. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.

Acceptable use

Do not:

  • load pages at a rate that burdens the site. Use the API instead.
  • send false corrections or spam.
  • try to get into other accounts or into the server.
  • use the site to break the law.

Mangainfo can suspend accounts and block addresses that break these rules.

Corrections and missing editions

When you send a correction or a missing edition you give Mangainfo a free, permanent and worldwide license to use, change and publish it. That includes the API. You confirm that you are allowed to send it. Facts such as release dates and ISBNs belong to no one.

Corrections can be credited to your account name on the site.

The public API

The API and the MCP server are free and need no key. The API page describes both.

  • Stay within the rate limits.
  • Credit Mangainfo with a visible link to the page the data comes from wherever you show the data. Each answer names that page.
  • Cover images are not part of the API. Do not copy them from the pages.

Mangainfo can change the API, end it or block addresses that break these terms.

Shops

Mangainfo links to shops. A purchase is between you and the shop. Some links are affiliate links. The affiliate disclosure explains them.

Content

Text written for Mangainfo belongs to Mangainfo. Series names, cover art and trademarks belong to their owners.

Liability

Mangainfo is not liable for loss caused by wrong or missing data or by the site being unavailable. This does not limit any liability that Danish law does not allow to be limited.

Changes

The date at the top of this page shows the current version.

Law

Danish law applies. Disputes go to the Danish courts. If you are a consumer you keep the protection that the law of your own country gives you.
