This is a slice-of-life comedy with a war story hiding underneath. Its hero handles everyday life the only way he knows: like a soldier and a spy. Shingo Shimazaki has just come home to Japan after escaping the LEL. The international terror group kidnapped him as a boy and spent thirty years using him as a covert operative. He wants an ordinary life now, nothing more. That turns out to be hard. A man who can survive a war zone gets stumped by errands, and his Japanese has gone strange after decades away. He picks up friends eager to help him fit in and a few people who want the opposite. His old life may also come looking for him. Gouten Hamada writes and Takeshi Seshimo draws. Readers who like a deadly lead in a peaceful setting will enjoy it.
