Hidamari ga Kikoeru
Taichi Sagawa takes lecture notes for his classmate Kohei Sugihara, and Kohei pays him in food. It suits Taichi fine. He is loud, cheerful and permanently short of money. Their friendship started on a rooftop, with Kohei sharing his lunch with a starving Taichi. Kohei lost much of his hearing to an illness when he was younger. By college he has decided it is easier to be alone. He has had his fill of both pity and exclusion. Taichi treats him as an ordinary friend, and that is what slowly gets through. This is a quiet boys' love story. The relationship builds gently and the focus stays on Kohei learning to accept himself.
