Love, That's an Understatement
ひかえめに言っても、これは愛
Hikaeme ni Itte mo, Kore wa Ai
Risa Amakawa is a high school student who never leaves home unprepared. Her overstuffed bag covers almost any problem, and relying on other people is a skill she never learned. That changes after a rainy evening in the park, when she comes to the aid of a battered delinquent and then flatly turns down his offer to pay her back. The boy is Zen Ohira, and he is notorious. Helping him puts some shady people on her trail. Now Zen keeps stepping in whenever she lands in trouble. Bit by bit Risa starts to question her habit of handling everything alone, and her feelings about Zen start to shift as well. Fujimomo, who also drew Lovesick Ellie, is behind it. It suits readers who like shojo romantic comedy pairing a careful honor student with a fiercely loyal punk.
