Even the school ghosts of Kamome Academy get time off, and this spin-off shows how they spend it. After-school Hanako-kun comes from AidaIro, the duo behind Toilet-bound Hanako-kun. In the main series Nene Yashiro summons the bathroom spirit of school legend, hoping for help finding a boyfriend. Hanako turns out to be a boy. She ends up as his assistant in keeping the supernatural in balance. Here the cases and the danger are set aside. In these light comic episodes the cast trades genders, falls ill and settles in for games. It is best for readers who already know the main story and want more time with its characters in a sillier mood.
