You Might As Well Be the One

いっそあなたがトドメを刺して

Isso Anata ga Todome wo Sashite

You Might As Well Be the One is a college romance about two people who want different things from love. Ichika is a university student with a flashy look. People assume she is out for fun. In truth she is tired of guys who won't commit and wants something serious and lasting. A mixer leaves her frustrated once again. Then she runs into Kosei. He is kind and cute and shares her taste in movies. He is also honest from the start that he only wants something casual. They hit it off anyway. Ichika knows he is the wrong bet for her. She falls for him regardless. An Anime News Network review called it a wholesome and relaxing read. It suits readers who like grounded romance between adults.
