Mei Kinosaki, a professional marriage swindler, is one of Hikaru Gero's assassination targets. Instead Gero proposes and gets turned down. Kinosaki ends up coaching him in dating. Gero is next in line to lead the Poison Clan, a line of assassins that goes back centuries. The clan wants a child to carry it on. If Gero stays single the duty falls to his younger sister, who already has a girlfriend. He would rather take it on himself. A lifetime of contract killing has left him with no idea how to win anyone over. Dates keep colliding with rival killers and the criminal underworld. It is an action romcom for readers who like assassin comedy with a sincere heart.
