Mash Burnedead lives in a society that ranks people by their magic. Being born without any is treated as a crime. Mash has no magic at all. The old man Regro took him in and keeps him hidden in the forest. Mash eats cream puffs and trains his body to an absurd degree. One trip to town for more cream puffs brings the police down on him. His only way out runs through Easton Magic Academy. There he must become a Divine Visionary. It is the most prestigious title a young mage can earn. So Mash answers every magical test with raw muscle and a perfectly straight face. Mashle: Magic and Muscles is a gag-heavy shounen that pokes fun at wizard school stories. Much of the humor comes from deadpan timing and running gags. It suits readers who like absurd comedy, an unbeatable hero and light action.
