My New Life as a Cat

ねこ、はじめました～ニャンとも気になるニャオ～

Neko, Hajimemashita: Nyantomo Kininaru Nyao

Life is easy for Nao Kazushiro, a high school boy without a care, until a traffic accident puts him in a coma. His mind wakes up inside a cat called Nyao. Being a cat feels like fun for a while. Hunger changes that quickly. Then Chika, a girl from his class, finds him on the street, feeds him and takes him in. Now Nao lives as the pet of a girl his own age, and the question of feelings for her is never far away. The bigger question is whether he will ever wake up in his own body. The series won a major Japanese award for children's manga. It suits younger readers and anyone who likes gentle romantic comedy with a cat at the center.
