Sometimes Even Reality Is a Lie!
現実もたまには嘘をつく
Real mo Tama ni wa Uso wo Tsuku
Every time Kaoru Terasaki visits his friend Nanami Osaka, he goes as a girl named Kaori. Her father Toshio is skilled at judo and kendo, and a male friend for Nanami is the last thing he would accept. Her parents were already told to expect a girl. The two met in an MMORPG where each played the opposite gender. Kaoru is sixteen and assumed his online friend Nami was a guy. He even rehearsed saying sorry for not being the girl his character looked like. Nami turned out to be Nanami, a seventeen-year-old girl. She has shut herself away at home and skips school entirely, so this friendship means a lot to her. It is a sweet and low-stakes romcom about two gamers and one very nervous disguise.
