Drawing From Your Memory starts with a guilty conscience. Mahoro Haruta's breakout manga made her a star. The ideas came from a notebook left behind by Yukishima, the boy who was the only other member of her high school's manga club. He died just a few months into their friendship. Now an even better second series is expected of her, and she has nothing of her own to draw. Then something strange happens and she is sent back a decade, close to the day she first met Yukishima. A second chance is right in front of her. She can hand his stories back to him and try to stop his death. The series balances grief and guilt with warmth and some humor. It suits readers who like time-travel dramas about regret and the cost of making art.
