Uesugi-kun Wants to Quit Being a Girl
上杉くんは女の子をやめたい
Uesugi-kun wa Onnanoko wo Yametai
Keisuke Uesugi is small and cute, and he has a real complex about it. It does not help that his best friend Eito is tall and gifted. Uesugi has loved Noel since they were children. Then he overhears her say that he would be cutest as a girl. He decides she will never think of him as a boy. Desperate, he goes to pray at a shrine close to home for a chance at love with her. The prayer is granted through a misunderstanding, and Uesugi is turned into a girl. What follows is a confusing love triangle between Uesugi, Noel and Eito. It is a gender-bender romantic comedy with a soft heart, and the mix-ups are played for warm laughs.
