Forest of the Rabbits
兎の森
Usagi no Mori
Forest of the Rabbits is a boys' love drama about wanting someone and hating yourself for it. Shunta is convinced his feelings make him a kind of monster. The reason is Tamaki, his friend since childhood. Watching Tamaki cry one day woke something in Shunta that he cannot put back to sleep. As they grow older the friendship keeps edging past where Shunta thinks it should stop. Shunta is not the only one who wants more, either. The pull between longing and shame is what drives the story. It is meant for adult readers. Fans of emotionally heavy BL that takes guilt seriously are the audience here.
