Given

ギヴン

Ritsuka Uenoyama plays guitar in a band with two older friends. He is still in high school and the music has stopped exciting him. Then he runs into Mafuyu Sato from his school. Mafuyu is quiet and carries a guitar with snapped strings that he cannot play. He asks Uenoyama to fix it and teach him. Uenoyama reluctantly agrees. Later he hears Mafuyu sing. That voice stops him cold. The story follows the four of them as Mafuyu finds a place in the band. Given is a boys' love story about music and first love and the weight of the past. It suits readers who like character-driven romance and the push and pull inside a band.
