Platinum End

プラチナエンド

Angels have chosen thirteen humans as candidates to replace God. The current one steps down in 999 days. Mirai Kakehashi is one of them, picked at his lowest point. On the day he graduated from middle school he jumped from a high-rise. Years of abuse from the aunt and uncle who raised him after a car crash killed his family had driven him to it. The angel Nasse saved him. Along with wings she hands him two weapons: red arrows that make the target love him and white arrows that kill. Some rivals plan to win by killing everyone else. Mirai wants to survive without becoming a murderer. Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, the team behind Death Note, created it, and fans of that series will feel at home. The opening deals with suicide and abuse head on.
