Me and the Prez, Drinking Under the Stars is an office romantic comedy about two adults who meet after hours. Kenichi Ishizumi is thirty-seven and manages a section at Izutsu Printing. His boss is the company president, Reina Izutsu. She is twenty-four and got the job when her father died suddenly. In the office she is harsh with everyone. The act hides how unready she feels and how much the pressure weighs on her. Kenichi learns this one night in a park. Reina is there drinking and crying, too drunk to know who he is, and talking about quitting. He decides to back her up at work and build up her confidence. Their late meetings in the park become a regular thing. It suits readers who like gentle workplace romance with grown-up leads.
